Curry Clubs

Venue: Kingston Blount Village Lane, 10 Baker’s Piece, Chinnor, OX39 4SW

Timings: 6pm to 8.30pm / 9pm

Curry clubs are a wonderful opportunity to learn to cook and eat a variety of traditional Indian dishes in a group environment. The dishes you’ll create will be found in proper Indian households, rather than in your local takeaway, giving you authentic flavours and delicious meals!

There’ll be a different theme & menu each curry club.

These are welcoming & relaxed events, where you’re welcome to come along with friends or on your own to meet local fellow foodies, and learn some new skills. And of course to eat delicious, authentic Indian food!

You’ll you’ll learn how to cook a variety of traditional dishes, with small groups taking it in turns to cook a dish or two each. And together, you’ll create a selection of authentic Indian dishes.

At a Thursday curry club, you’ll cook enough to feed two people each. The delicious food you’ve created will then be taken home, ready for you to enjoy at home (whether you share or not is your choice!). Food storage containers will be provided, although you’re welcome to bring your own.

At a Friday curry club, the dishes you have created will be dished up in authentic thali plates, giving you an opportunity to enjoy the food you’ve made on the night, alongside your fellow chefs.

The cost for curry club is based on a per person attending basis, and includes the cookery experience (all recipes are shared), all the ingredients and access to all equipment. Drinks not included! The cost per person will vary depending on the theme, and will be in the range of £40 - £50 per person.

Great afternoon in kitchen cooking everything up and watch eye of MD and now tucking in to the spoils of the afternoon toils. Can’t imagine settling for the same old takeaways again, and with plenty spare to put in the freezer - I’m almost looking forward to that late night last minute meal! If you’ve never cooked Indian food before or just want to spread your wings in to some thing new - this is the experience day for you. Five stars all round Mama D!
